Honkai: Nexus Anima, miHoYo’s open-world creature-catching adventure RPG, is set for PC, iOS, and Android in spring 2027. The final closed beta begins November 25, and sign-ups are open now on the official website. This report rests on Gematsu’s write-up of the miHoYo announcement.1
The full game is free-to-play. The November 25 test is the last closed run before that spring window, on the same three platforms: PC, Android, and iOS.1
What the beta includes, in plain words: you play as an Animaster starting from the town of Iia. miHoYo’s overview says this build carries more story, distinctive gameplay, and exploration than earlier tests, plus new companions and rivals with their own pasts. Iia opens further—traditional bank halls, high-rise offices, a lighthouse island—and you can rest in your own RV or build Anima habitats while moving across the map. Chromatic Anima can appear in the field, and more juvenile Anima travel with you so you can see them grow. Companionship interactions expand to holding hands, hugging, and being lifted by an Anima. Combat adds Nexus Arena, where you assemble any lineup, match against others, and climb ranks, with tougher enemies in the open world and challenge stages.1
Bond rules shift too. The first 5-star Eidos or Anima you obtain is guaranteed to be the current limited one, and pulling the current limited Eidos also lets you claim the matching Anima Companion at no extra cost.1
What it does not include: a guaranteed seat, a kept save, or a full calendar yet. The final closed beta is limited-slot and ends with a data wipe. After the recruitment questionnaire, only a selection of applicants get in; those chosen are told through the eligibility checker, email, SMS, and other channels. Exact test schedule details arrive in later announcements.1
Asterisk count: four. Biggest one first—limited seats and a selection gate, not open entry. Then the wipe, the still-pending schedule, and the platform lock to PC and phones only for this test.
Who this is for: players already watching this Honkai creature-catcher on PC or mobile who want one more closed look before spring 2027 and can live with a possible no, a reset, and a calendar that is not finished.
Our read: Spring 2027 is a firm season, and labeling this the final closed beta draws a clear line under the test cycle. The four asterisks are the standard closed-beta package—seats, wipe, waitlist, schedule later—not a surprise, but they are the terms that matter if you sign up. The guaranteed first limited 5-star and the free matching companion with a limited Eidos are the fine-print lines worth reading twice if you do get in. Watch for the follow-up schedule posts; until those land, November 25 is a start date without a full timetable.
