The deal that passed my interrogation is the Google Pixel 11 Pro at $800 for 12/256GB at Amazon US, a $300 cut. Google phones rarely get discounts worth mentioning, and this week is an exception.1

My calls, one per deal:

  • Pixel 11 Pro, $800: buy it. It is only $100 above the vanilla Pixel 11 and adds an LTPO display, better telephoto and ultra-wide cameras, and a 16GB RAM option.1
  • Pixel 11, $700: skip it in favor of the Pro, given that $100 gap.1
  • Pixel 11 Pro XL, $950: buy it only if you want the 6.8-inch screen, faster charging and nicer speakers.1
  • Galaxy S26, $730: buy it. It runs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a big step up from the flawed Tensor G6, and sits $70 to $110 below comparable Pixel 11 Pro configurations.1
  • Galaxy S26+, $810: a fair look. It is $25 cheaper than two weeks ago.1
  • Galaxy S26 Ultra, $1,105: wait. It costs $155 more than it did a couple of weeks ago.1
  • Pixel 11 Pro Fold, $1,650: a rare foldable discount, and $250 below the base Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra at Amazon US, so worth a look if you want a Pixel foldable.1
