Eight Switch 2 accessories TechRadar picks for new Zelda console owners
TechRadar's eight accessory picks for new Switch 2 owners, with Amazon US prices, four of them marked down by 10 to 20 percent.
Edited by Dot Matrix, Editor-in-Chief
The best deal on this list is the Belkin screen protector, marked down 20 percent from $24.99 to $19.99 at Amazon US, which is the deepest cut on the sheet and covers the one accessory I would call close to mandatory.1 The rest are TechRadar’s picks for people who just unboxed the Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition console.1 The source gives no end dates for any of them, so I wrote a dash where a date should be.
| Deal | Price | Usual | Store | Ends |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Belkin Switch 2 Screen Protector | $19.99 | $24.99 | Amazon US | - |
| Nintendo 256GB Samsung MicroSD Card | $59 | - | Amazon US | - |
| Switch 2 Pro Controller | $89 | - | Amazon US | - |
| Orzly Switch 2 Carrying Case | $23.91 | $26.91 | Amazon US | - |
| Iniu 25000mAh Power Bank | $66.99 | - | Amazon US | - |
| Switch 2 Camera | $29.99 | - | Amazon US | - |
| SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 Headset | $49.99 | $59.99 | Amazon US | - |
| JSAUX Thumb Grips | $8.99 | $9.99 | Amazon US | - |
My calls, line by line:
- Screen protector: buy it. Twenty percent off is real, and scratches are forever.
- MicroSD card: buy it if your library is growing. It is not discounted, so there is no rush.
- Pro Controller: wait. At $89 with no markdown, this is a nice-to-have, not a deal.
- Carrying case: buy it. It is $3 off, which is small but real.
- Power bank: wait. $66.99 with no cut is a lot for backup juice, even for heavy handheld players.
- Camera: skip unless you know you want it. It is full price, and the source offers no reason to rush.
- SteelSeries headset: buy it. It is 17 percent off, $10 below the usual price.
- Thumb grips: buy them. A dollar off a $9.99 item is trivial, but the price is already low.
TechRadar’s James Pickard framed the picks as a mix of essentials, like storage and screen protection, and extras, like the controller and power bank.1 If you are still hunting the console itself, see our note on Walmart cancelling Zelda Switch 2 pre-orders.
Verdict: verified on the discounted items, with a catch: half the list is simply full price.
Our read: the real savings here total about $20 across four items, so treat this as a shopping checklist, not a sale event. Prices were as listed at Amazon US on October 31, 2026, and may change.
