Select PlayStation Plus subscribers can try 007 First Light free through a new one-hour trial on Premium and Deluxe tiers.1

The trial is available now. PlayStation pointed Premium members to the store page; PlayStation AU flagged the same offer for Deluxe.21

Players get the prologue plus some of Bond’s training sections—enough to sample the controls, the story setup, and IO Interactive’s take on the spy fantasy before putting money down.1

Buyers who bite after the hour get 40% off, landing the game at about $42. The title launched May 27, 2026, has drawn strong notices (IGN scored it 9 out of 10), and had moved more than 4 million copies by August 2026.1

IO Interactive has already shipped free post-launch updates and plans story DLC before year-end. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is set for March 2027.1

Our read: A short, free look at a high-selling 2026 Bond game is a clean way to turn browsers into buyers while the discounts and DLC window are still open. Watch whether the one-hour slice plus the 40% cut moves the needle into the holidays; the Switch 2 port next March is the next hard date on the board. The coffee’s still cold. The wire isn’t.
