Asleep: Act 1 is free to keep on Steam until Monday, November 2 at 18:00 UTC (10 am PST), normally $9.99 on Steam.1 I looked for the catch and found a clock, not a trick: claim it before Monday morning Pacific and it is yours. Verdict on this one: verified.

Our calls, per deal:
- Asleep: Act 1: free is the lowest a price goes. Verified.1
- A New Beginning: Final Cut: also free to keep, and it closes about four hours earlier than the Steam freebie.1
- Sorry We’re Closed: free for a full week, so no rush. Verified, with plenty of time.1
- Flotsam: free from November 5 at 16:00 UTC, so not claimable yet.1
- Resident Evil 7 Biohazard: $7.99 against $19.99 is a 60% cut, a low price for what it is. The $7.99 version is not the Gold Edition and leaves out the paid Banned Footage packs and End of Zoe.2
- DREDGE: 60% off, with a deadline of November 5, later than the festival’s end. The Pale Reach and The Iron Rig expansions are separate purchases.2
- Phasmophobia: only 30% off, the shallowest cut here, and it remains in Early Access. Four copies run $55.96 before tax. Verified, but unexciting.2
- Resident Evil 4, Amnesia: The Bunker, Outlast: the sources list sale prices but no regular price, so I cannot grade the discount. $1.49 for Outlast is cheap on its face.2
- Legion Go S: Best Buy lists open-box units at $720.99 (Excellent), $692.99 (Good) and $665.99 (Fair), the last two for store pickup only. The Slickdeals headline shows a $1,580 reference price, but the source does not say where that figure comes from, so I am not treating it as a usual price. The price history is more telling: the same unit has shown $900, $740, $1,000, $706 and $550 on other dates, and Lenovo lists it at $999.99.3 Not a bargain I can verify.
Verdict across the sheet: the two freebies are verified, the Epic game is verified, the discounted Steam games are verified where a usual price is given, and the Legion Go S is not a deal I can confirm.
These prices were as listed when this ran and may change.
