CI Games has signed a $32 million syndicated credit facility to complete production and launch Lords of the Fallen II under its own banner.1
The facility totals €28.6 million. It was arranged on October 30 with Polish lenders Erste Bank Polska and Bank Ochrony Środowiska. The money will fund remaining development work, a worldwide marketing push and the release, while also refinancing the group’s existing bank debt.12
Polish export credit agency KUKE is guaranteeing 80 percent of the loan. Repayment is due August 31, 2027. CI Games expects to cover that primarily from sales of the sequel, which is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. An exact date is due in December.12
CEO Marek Tymiński, who is also the largest shareholder, said the company secured the financing “without issuing new shares.” He has pledged to retain his full stake for the life of the facility.12
The loan arrives months after CI Games ended its PC publishing agreement with Epic Games. That deal would have made Epic the PC publisher and kept the title exclusive to the Epic Games Store. The termination took effect April 14. CI Games has not stated a reason for the split. It said other work with Epic, including Unreal Engine use, continues unchanged. The studio is now self-publishing on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so it will not share revenue with an outside publisher.1
The first Lords of the Fallen was the company’s most expensive project, with total costs of $66.2 million.3
Conditions stay tied to the December date reveal and the first-quarter 2027 window.
Our read: The facility gives CI Games a path to ship without diluting equity after the Epic split left it carrying the full PC load. The prior title’s $66.2 million bill sets the scale against which the new marketing and production spend will be judged. The August 2027 maturity date will show whether first-quarter sales close the gap; the numbers line up on the filing, and the next update will test them.
